After many years as a young man being around the family garage business, it was decided i attend a two years coarse at Btec college, gaining a Motor Vehicle Diploma. Here after I worked for a Rolls Royce and Bentley specialist Healey Brothers Automobile Engineers Northamptonshire in the 80’s and 90’s, initially serving a 5 year apprenticeship, my role was in sheet metal fabrication / panel manufacture using aluminium and steel on early 50’s and 60’s Rolls Royce and Bentley vehicles which were shipped worldwide, I progressed to vehicle restoration.
I continued with education gaining 2 City & Guild qualifications one in mechanical engineering and one in bodywork. Next a higher level TINTB qualification in all aspects of welding. I was offered a place at Harrow for the Guilds of Craftsmen where I was awarded a distinction.
After working for Healey Brothers for approximately 20 years, I moved to various prestige and classic garages working on top marque vehicles, Aston martin, Ferrari, AC, Jaguar etc.
In recent years after relocating to Devon, I started working for a Classic Porsche specialist and after 5 years experience working with Classic Porsche I decided to set up on my own.
